Oakland Unified School District is working to improve the health of Oakland families by connecting the uninsured to free and low-cost health coverage programs. If you or someone you know is uninsured, we may be able to help you get the healthcare you need.

Who can apply?

Free and low cost health coverage is meant to serve families that cannot afford traditional private insurance. These programs have income limits that differ for adults and children.

Check our eligibility guide to see if you and your family fall under the income limits for your household size.

What about immigration status?

Any resident of Alameda County can apply, regardless of immigration status (all information regarding immigration status will be kept confidential).
