If schools have available space, everyone who applies attends that school.
If there are more applicants than spaces, the following priority system will determine admissions:
1st priority – Sibling (students who have an older brother/sister living at the same address and the same parent/guardian, who is already attending the applicant’s first choice school and will be continuing at the school in the fall of 2014). 2nd priority– Neighborhood (students who live in the neighborhood boundary of a school; click here to find out your neighborhood schools).
3rd priority– Open lottery.
NOTE: For 2014-2015 OUSD has received a C.O.R.E Waiver to No Child Left Behind (click on this link for more info). This means that as a district, we are no longer considering Program Improvement as a priority for enrollment.
